Purpose

Document Sync is a personal Windows application used by its account owner to synchronize selected local documents to Google Drive.

Google user data accessed

When authorized by the user, the application accesses Google Drive file and folder metadata and the documents selected for synchronization. It may use Google Docs services when converting or updating a synchronized document.

How data is used

Google user data is used solely to perform, verify, and maintain the user-requested synchronization. Local synchronization state may retain file identifiers, relative paths, timestamps, and hashes to identify updates and avoid duplicate uploads.

Storage and sharing

OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored locally on the user’s computer. The application does not sell, rent, share, or use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or purposes unrelated to document synchronization. Data is transmitted to Google only through Google APIs for the user’s configured Google Drive.

Security and retention

The user controls the local application, its credentials, and the Google Drive account. Data is retained only as needed for synchronization and verification, or until the user removes the local application data or revokes access through their Google Account.

Your choices

You may stop using the application at any time and revoke its Google account access in your Google Account security settings. Removing local credentials prevents further access from that computer.
